Our Story

From a College Vision to a Platform for India

Homliv was founded by Vinayak Jadhav at the age of 20 while he was studying at the prestigious Sir J.J. College of Architecture in Mumbai — one of India's leading institutions for architecture and design.

During his time at the college and through his early exposure to the architecture and interior industry, Vinayak observed a major gap in the way home interior projects were executed across India. The market was largely unorganized and fragmented, with homeowners often facing unclear pricing, unreliable contractors, delays in execution, and poor coordination between designers, carpenters, and vendors.

"While homeowners were investing significant amounts into their homes, the industry itself lacked structure, transparency, and a systematic approach to project management."

This observation led Vinayak to envision a new model for the interior design industry — one that would bring organization, technology, and professional systems into the process of designing and building homes.

To turn this vision into reality, Vinayak partnered with his co-founder Aman Singh, and together they built Homliv as a platform designed to simplify and organize the home interior journey.
